The Mirror reported that issues started around 3.20pm and are affecting viewers across the UK, according to DownDetector. Some complained the picture on the live TV channel had either stopped working or became pixellated.
Others reported the sound quality decreased harshly with others saying the channel was frequently freezing on them. Many users took to Twitter to express their frustration with ITV.
