Instagram Reveals New Change to Help Public Figures Facing Online Abuse

Instagram has announced they’re launching a new feature for anyone who might be bullied on the app, especially some public figures who might face hate speech from strangers.

The app is launching a new featured called “Limits,” which will automatically hide DM requests and comments from people who do not follow you or from people who just decided to follow you.

Instragram also said they will issue “stronger warnings” for people writing hateful text.
