A single mum has been told that she has to accept solar panels on the roof of her council house or be put back onto the waiting list.
Brittany Haughton, 26, has turned the panels off and demanded their removal, because she was 'still paying through the roof for electricity' and 'doesn't see the point' in them.
But Brittany, who has autism and has a daughter with 'special needs', is locked in a 25-year-contract with the Community Energy Scheme (CES), Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
