Inside 'the filthiest hotel ever' with 'poo-stained towels' located in posh village

hotel dubbed the 'filthiest ever' has been slammed for having 'poo-stained towels' by fuming guests. The Airport Inn, based in the upmarket village of Wilmslow at Manchester Airport, has received a barrage of one-star reviews on TripAdvisor.

The Britannia-owned establishment is just 10 minutes away from the busy airport and is described as 'perfect' for travellers by Britannia.

However, over 500 'terrible' and over 300 'poor' reviews wholeheartedly disagree with that assessment. Aside from the shocking state of the towels, other criticisms include the stench of 'stale smoke', noise and ageing decor, reports CheshireLive.One reviewer said: "Dreadful hotel.

We booked it last minute and wished we had done some research. "First impressions weren’t great - there was a slurring, swearing woman falling over a sofa in the bar which adjoins the reception then the rooms are pretty grubby and smell of stale smoke "While this hotel may advertise itself as an airport hotel, if you need somewhere to stay before a flight, avoid this place like the plague- it has no interest in meeting your needs."
