Christmas trees in a bid to give Scots some ‘much-needed’ festive cheer. The Swedish furniture firm says that footfall has been hit by current Covid travel restrictions at its branches in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
As a result, Ikea is giving away its remaining stock of trees to locals near the branches, charities and its own employees to ensure that they go to a good home over the festive period.
Real Christmas trees from Ikea normally cost £29 in the run up to the festive celebrations.
