EASTENDERS' Luisa Bradshaw-White has revealed she’s been on the “longest road to recovery” after battling “really bad bipolar and an extreme eating disorder”.
The star, best known for playing Tina Carter in the BBC soap, told followers how she had been "in and out of psychiatric units" for years as she vowed to dedicate her social media account to helping others.
She explained: "I've had the longest journey to recovery from bipolar, really bad bipolar, and an extreme eating disorder. "I've spent years and years in and out of psychiatric units, and it has been such a long recovery." The star, 46, continued: "Years of self-love, self-care, any alternative therapy I could find to try to help myself and to get me to where I am today.
