GAZ Beadle has opened up about life after Geordie Shore, insisting he's proud of how far he's come. The 33-year-old shot to fame as one of the Geordie OGs more than a decade ago and went on to make a cool £4.6m fortune.
In a new YouTube video Gaz - who quit the MTV show for the second time in 2020 - insisted being a reality TV star is not easy.
Discussing life before he landed a part on the show, Gaz revealed that, after a season in Malia in 2009, he was: "On the dole, living with my grandad, couldn't get a job tiling. "I was 21-years-old, my life looked a bit gloom.
I had no intention of getting a job, I was quite lazy. One night I went out, had probably about £6 in my pocket - I was blagging drinks of my friends, I was skint. "And that night there were MTV scouts out out in a bar." Revealing that they didn't get paid a penny for the first season of Geordie Shore, Gaz confessed he needed to borrow £100 from his mum halfway through filming to buy some clothes.
