Fire crews are on the scene of a massive Highland wildfire they have been battling to control since lunchtime. Emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze near Tarvie, Strathpeffer at 1.36pm on Friday April 17.More than 20 firefighters and six appliances are currently in attendance, are estimated to remain there for some time.Pictures show thick white smoke billowing out over the scenery with embers and flames visible on the side of a hill amid the recent warm weather.
