Huge queues are already gathering outside Primark stores across England as the chain prepares to reopen for the first time since March 23.

Crowds of shoppers have been pictured outside the chain's Birmingham flagship branch - which will today welcome shoppers for the first time in three months, following a lockdown that has cost the business £1.5billion.

A total of 153 stores will reopen to the public - with two metre social distancing and one-way queues in place. Other measures include extra security staff, safety signs and revised hours as the chain slowly reopens for business.

However, in line with Government guidelines, staff and customers will not be required to wear PPE or face coverings inside stores.
