Your will is a legal document which lets you decide what happens to your money, property and possessions after your death. You can write it yourself, but you need to get it formally witnessed and signed to make it legally valid - in Scotland, temporary measures have already been introduced allowing the signing of wills to be witnessed via video calls rather than in person.
Lawyers working to execute wills are designated as key workers, which means they are continuing their responsibilities during the Covid-19 outbreak.
