Jennifer Lopez took over the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards stage on Tuesday night (March 22) in Los Angeles.

The 52-year-old singer and actress was honored with the Icon Award for her impact on pop culture, longevity, and continued relevance as a touring and radio force with a loyal fan base worldwide.

In her speech, Jennifer dedicated her acceptance speech to all the fans saying, “I wish I could tell you that the awards are the most important things to me but that is not true.” She continued “because of you I get to do what I love the most in life, and that is the most wonderful blessing.

That is the gift you give me, and I want to say thank you.” Jennifer concluded her speech saying, “ICON, I-C-O-N, I Can Overcome Negativity, and so can you, every single moment, and let me tell you something else, I am just getting started.” Following her speech, Jennifer performed her new hit single “On My Way” and “Get it Right”.
