Michael Carrick will get his third game in charge of Manchester United against Arsenal, with incoming interim boss Ralf Rangnick not able to feature in the dugout owing to visa reasons and Covid protocol.
Carrick has guided the Red Devils to some impressive results in his opening two games, winning 2-0 against Villarreal in the Champions League and drawing 1-1 with Chelsea last Sunday.
Arsenal, coming off the back of their 2-0 victory over struggling Newcastle at the Emirates, are on an upward trajectory, the 4-0 loss to Liverpool withstanding.
The Gunners will serve as another tough challenge for the Geordie boss, whose side are sat eighth in the Premier League table.
