Anthony Elanga has delivered a message to Manchester United fans after making his Champions League debut. The 19-year-old was one of several academy players handed an opportunity to shine for newly-appointed interim manager Ralf Rangnick when United got down to business in their Group F match with Young Boys at Old Trafford; UCL progression and top spot already rubber-stamped.

Elanga has enjoyed a taste of the Premier League having progressed through the famous United Academy system. However, last night marked his first appearance in the marquee European competition - as Rangnick also handed debuts to Tom Heaton, Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage.
