Manchester United youngster Charlie Savage has thanked the club's academy staff and interim manager Ralf Rangnick after making his senior debut for the club against Young Boys on Wednesday evening.
Savage, who is the son of former Derby County and Wales midfielder Robbie, stepped off the bench in the closing stages of the Reds' 1-1 draw with the Swiss outfit, replacing Juan Mata.
The youngster, who signed his first professional contract at Old Trafford back in April, was one of several youngsters named in the matchday squad, as Rangnick looked to catch a first glimpse of those that did not feature in Sunday's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.
