Harvey Weinstein

Harvey Weinstein CBE (born March 19, 1952) is an American former film producer. He and his brother Bob Weinstein co-founded the entertainment company Miramax, which produced several successful independent films, including Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), The Crying Game (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Heavenly Creatures (1994), Flirting with Disaster (1996), and Shakespeare in Love (1998).

Weinstein won an Academy Award for producing Shakespeare in Love, and garnered seven Tony Awards for a variety of plays and musicals, including The Producers, Billy Elliot the Musical, and August: Osage County. After leaving Miramax, Weinstein and his brother Bob founded The Weinstein Company, a mini-major film studio. He was co-chairman, alongside Bob, from 2005 to 2017.

Georgina Chapman hasn't spoken to her ex-husband Harvey Weinstein since he went on trial for rape - and her children haven't seen their father since his conviction.

The 43-year-old fashion designer left the country with India, nine, and six-year-old Dashiell before the trial kicked off, despite industry insiders wondering whether she would appear in the courtroom to lend her support.

But pals of the Marchesa founder say she's already cut ties and moved on from her husband of 10 years by fleeing abroad with her kids.

Weinstein's eldest children - Lily, 25, Emma, 22, and Ruth, 17, who were born during his 20-year marriage to Eve Chilton - have already disowned their vile father and haven't spoken to him at all during the trial.
