George Johnston believes his spell in Dutch football and playing under Jaap Stam and Dick Advocaat has been the most tactical environment that the Bolton Wanderers defender has experienced in his career so far.
The 23-year-old Wanderers defender came through the youth team ranks at Liverpool before making the move to Feyenoord in 2019.
When he arrived there, former Manchester United defender Stam was in charge and Johnston worked with the former Dutch international.
