Former Hollyoaks star Nicole Barber-Lane has been faced with backlash from fans for posting an "insensitive" April Fool's Joke.
Nicole, 49, who played Myra McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, took to Instagram today pretending to have some exciting news for her followers before sharing a clip of herself holding a fake bump.
The excited actress joked: "Hi, so I would like to share with you some news that has been confirmed today. I am expecting triplets." Nicole later confirmed it was in fact part of a joke to mark April Fool's Day.
She told fans that she was not actually expecting triplets by posting a smocked up snap of herself and a pregnant Beyoncé and penned: "April 1st today.
