Hollyoaks actress Elá-May Demircan plays schoolgirl Leah Barnes in the Channel 4 soap but looks miles apart from her character in real life.
Leah first appeared in the village in February 2007 and is the adoptive sister of Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson), who is currently struggling with money problems.In the current storyline, Leah and her friend DeMarcus Westwood (Tomi Ade) have grown closer after they broke into Hollyoaks High during the half term holidays.However, they were caught and punished with detention which left them alone together, sparking speculation amongst viewers as to their feelings towards each other.
DeMarcus had a surprise for Leah during detention and later on he used his boxing skills to teach his pal.
