A legendary soap star has reportedly quit Hollyoaks following more than a decade on our screens, after joining the show when they were just a child.. Ela-May Demircan, who has played Leah Barnes in the Channel 4 soap for 13 years, will allegedly depart from our screens in coming weeks.The actress joined the show back in 2011 when she was around five years old. While Ela-May’s character Leah has been brought up by Ste Hay, who is her legal guardian, she is the biological daughter of Amy Barnes and ex Billy Parker.

Child star William Hall has announced he is leaving Hollyoaks after nine years on the hit Channel 4 show. The young actor has played Lucas Hay since 2014 and was the third actor to play the role, taking over from previous stars Reuben Thwaites and Jude Hawley.
