Ela-May Demircan, who has played Leah Barnes in the Channel 4 soap for 13 years, will allegedly depart from our screens in coming weeks.The actress joined the show back in 2011 when she was around five years old.
While Ela-May’s character Leah has been brought up by Ste Hay, who is her legal guardian, she is the biological daughter of Amy Barnes and ex Billy Parker.
Speaking to The Sun, a source claimed: “Ela-May has loved her time on the soap but it’s time to move on. She’s hugely talented and can’t wait to play new roles after so long playing Leah.” OK!
