Holly Willoughby has disappeared from today's This Morning, leaving co-host Phillip Schofield to present the last segment of the show alone.
Earlier in the show, Holly, 42, shared that she would be leaving the ITV studio at 12pm, half an hour before the show finishes, in order to head to Buckingham Palace, where she will be joining King Charles to congratulate the winners of the Prince's Trust Awards. The annual event recognises young people who have succeeded against the odds, improved their chances in life and had a positive impact on their local community.
She said: "I put my posh dress on today because later on this afternoon I am heading to Buckingham Palace and there the King will be, and we get to introduce the award winners to the King so he can say well done, which is all quite exciting isn’t it?” Phillip, 61, replied with: "So you are off mid day-ish and I am holding the fort", before Holly responded with a “thank you”.
Holly attended The Prince's Trust Awards on Tuesday evening, while Phil was nowhere to be seen even though he is an ambassador for The Prince's Trust.
