Hikers' haunting final photos before pair disappeared in jungle recovered from camera

After touring the country for two weeks, they arrived in Boquete and stayed with a local family.More than a couple of months later, two bodies were discovered and found to have been left in strange conditions, the Daily Mirror reports.A wide-reaching search of the jungle and nearby villages failed to find the women, with their parents and Dutch detectives flying out to investigate.10 days into the investigation, a local woman handed in a blue backpack which was said to belong to one of the girls after she found it in a rice paddy along the river banks.The backpack contained two pairs of sunglasses, $83 (£61.32) in cash, Lisanne's passport, a water bottle, two bras, and the women's phones.Also in the rucksack was Lisanne's camera, which contained 90 photos which had been taken in the jungle on April 8 between 1am and 4am.
