Army medic has been inked with a powerful tattoo revealing the reality of his lifesaving duties in the killing fields of Bosnia.Ex -combat medic technician Stevie Carter had the stunningly realistic and poignant artwork - showing fellow medics on a Chinook helicopter desperately working to save a wounded soldier - emblazoned on his arm as a Remembrance Day tribute.Brave Stevie - who served in Bosnia and Northern Ireland - wanted a permanent reminder of how he and his colleagues battled to save soldiers who had been blown up by boobytrap bombs in Bosnia.Dad of one Stevie, 42, from Kilmarnock, who served in the Royal Army Medical Corps, said: “The tattoo is something I always wanted to have done.
