Henrikh Mkhitaryan is keen to make his Roma stay permanent once his loan expires at the end of the campaign. Arsenal allowed the Armenian to leave for Italy last summer on a season-long loan following a less than impressive spell in north London.
The 31-year-old’s time in the Premier League looks set to come to an end and Roma want to keep in Serie A moving forward. Mikel Arteta could be prepared to offload the playmaker as any fee will go towards his own transfer budget ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
Arsenal are limited financially heading towards the summer as the coronavirus crisis has impacted them badly, like many other clubs across Europe.
