Arsenal have been told by Roma they must pay a segment of Henrikh Mkhitaryan's wages to make the move permanent. The Armenia international has rediscovered his form while in Serie A after a disappointing time in the Premier League.
The forward initially joined Manchester United in 2016 after a sparkling campaign that saw him score 23 in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund.
However, he failed to impress at the Red Devils and was offloaded to Arsenal in 2018 with Alexis Sanchez going the other way.
But that did not rekindle his form and in the summer the 31-year-old joined Roma on loan. Though injuries have stalled his time, the winger has scored six in 13 appearances.
