Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira has appeared to change his mind on a move back to Italy this summer. The ex-Sampdoria star left Serie A for the Premier League in 2018 and enjoyed a fine campaign.
But Torreira admitted that he was feeling homesick after enjoying his time in Italy. A transfer to AC Milan beckoned, with then-manager Marco Giampaolo in charge - the same man who coached him at Sampdoria.
However, a deal was never agreed but the fortunes of the Gunners went south fast. A terrible start to the season saw Unai Emery sacked and form has yet to exactly return.
