The UK's biggest airport said it's in talks to cut potentially thousands more jobs on the back of the Government's new 14-day quarantine law.

Heathrow bosses have today launched a voluntary redundancy scheme after warnings over 25,000 job cuts earlier this week. It comes as passenger numbers in May continued at an all-time low, as lockdown continues to hit the sector globally.

Flights last month were 97% lower than the same period last year. In an announcement on Thursday, the airport said job restructurings will continue with one third of managerial roles already axed - affecting around 25,000 of its 75,000 workforce.
