A head teacher has relived the horrific attack by an ex-pupil who viciously beat him in an Indian restaurant. Kieran Heakin, now 69, was left in a pool of his own blood after he was set upon by Jermaine Bullen, 37, in an Indian restaurant in 2009.
Bullen, a dad-of-one, was locked up indefinitely for the public protection in 2010. This week, the thug was back behind bars after he was caught dealing cannabis from his home, the Manchester Evening News reports.
After seeing his attacker's name in the headlines, Kieran Heakin was forced to remember the vicious assault in Rochdale, Manchester - from which he has never fully recovered.
