Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery following a late night brawl in Mykonos last week.
The hearing into Maguire's arrest on the Greek isle of Mykonos commenced on Tuesday with the Red Devils star keeping his distance back in the UK.
Maguire, who was released from custody over the weekend, was not present at the trial on the nearby island of Syros. The footballer had been charged with various counts of assaulting, including on a police officer, as well as attempted bribery; which were all denied by Maguire.
Prosecutors claimed the £80million defender tried to worm his way out of being arrested by offering them cash in exchange for his freedom.
