mirror.co.ukLove Island star Chris Hughes has publicly defended England and Manchester United footballer Harry Maguire following his sentencing.
The 27-year-old sportsman was found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery after arrest on Mykonos for which he was handed a suspended sentence of 21 months and 10 days in prison.
Following the verdict, reality star Chris took to Twitter to slam what he described as 'fake news' surrounding Maguire's arrest.
Chris, 27, who had been seen drinking at the same Mykonos bar as Maguire last week, took to Twitter to post footage of Sky News presenter Rebecca Williams reporting on the England defender's court hearing.
