It has been confirmed that Harry Maguire will appeal against his guilty verdict and a full retrial looks set to come in a more senior court.

Manchester United confirmed this in a statement, which read: "In accordance with the Greek judicial process, the filing of an appeal extinguishes the initial court verdict and nullifies the conviction...

This means that Harry has no criminal record and is once again presumed innocent until proven guilty. "Accordingly, he is not subject to any international travel restrictions." This means the centre-back will be available to participate in Champions League matches which takes place away from Old Trafford.
