HARDCORE Only Fools and Horses fans paid up to £375 to pose with comedy legend Sir David Jason. The actor, 80, who played wheeler dealer Del Boy in the hit sitcom, was guest of honour at an exhibition where his character’s old flat was reconstructed.
The website had crashed due to huge demand when tickets first went on sale last year. And fans, including ex-world boxing champ Ricky Hatton, lapped up the chance to meet the show’s stars at the weekend, including Sir David.
Ricky tweeted: “Met one of my heroes today. Sir David Jason (Del Boy). Absolutely made up.” Others were equally starstruck, including Wayne Maines who said: “This was always my dream.
