Gunman gets out of car and shoots driver with a shotgun in 'road rage' attack

manchestereveningnews.co.ukafter a man was blasted in the hand.The victim was attacked in Littleton Road, Kersal, and later turned up at hospital for treatment.Police were called to shots being fired at about 7.20pm on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old victim was discharged from hospital after treatment.Police said the drivers of two cars were involved in an "altercation".
One of the drivers got out of his vehicle and shot the other, then drove off.It is believed a shotgun was used in the attack.
A Ford Ka, thought to have been involved in the incident, was later found burned out in Whit Lane, on the other side of the River Irwell from where the shooting took place.
