Gun attack on quiet street at night was 'targeted', say police

And the Manchester Evening News can reveal that the gunman shot the victim in the buttock. The incident happened on a quiet street on a modern housing estate in Bradley Fold, Radcliffe.

For operational reasons police are at this stage not revealing details of how the gunman is thought to have arrived in Kentsford Drive or whether he was captured on CCTV.

The shooting happened at about 11pm on Sunday. The victim was shot in his doorway and may have been hit as he turned to flee back inside his home.
