An investigation has been launched by the Canadian Food inspection Agency (CFIA), after the arrival of the 500 puppies out of which 38 were dead, reports CBC.
The CFIA confirmed that the dogs arrived on a Ukrainian International Airlines flight at Toronto's Pearson International Airport from Kiev, last Saturday.The plane had around 500 of the fashionable breed of puppies on board.Tragically, 38 of the pups were dead on arrival, and cargo handlers found dozens more.
