The actress, 82, who battled with bulimia from her childhood until her 40s, has admitted that she has struggled to love herself and that she has now got to a place where she does not want to 'cut herself up'.
Despite being a glamorous icon for many, the award-winning star has told that she has found accepting herself hard over the years and now makes sure her fans see this by sharing make-up free and "haggard" snaps online.
Speaking to Elle Canada the activist said: "I can’t pretend that I’m not vain, but there isn’t going to be any more plastic surgery - I’m not going to cut myself up anymore." Explaining her tough time with body image, she continued:
