A top Scottish Government adviser has urged families who have lost relatives to Coronavirus not to delays funerals.Dr Gregor Smith, the interim chief medical officer, warned a failure to make arrangements quickly could put further pressure on funeral and mortuary services.His call came as First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced that the covid-19 death toll had increased to 575, a number she said would be an under-estimate.Strict social distancing rules mean only immediate family members can attend funerals during the epidemic.Dr Smith, who stood by Sturgeon’s side at her daily press conference, said there was anecdotal evidence some people were postponing the funeral process, which could create a backlog.He said: "The sector can cope, if
