Graham Norton says he feels his chat show has got better than ever thanks to lockdown - despite being without a studio audience and having foreign stars appear via screen links.
The host said the British studio guests are so delighted to get out of their homes and chat with new people outside of their family that they are opening up more and making the programme more entertaining.
When actress Maria McErlane said to Norton she recently did not want a podcast conversation to end, Graham responded and said: “The chat show has become a bit like that where the guests in the studio enjoy it so much because they haven’t talked to anyone they didn’t know for so long. “And the guests talk to each other more.
