The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) has called for public support following a survey that revealed "worrying" levels of abuse against GPs and their teams.
The plea by the body, which represents 5,000 GPs in Scotland, follows a British Medical Association (BMA) Scotland survey showing 88% of practices reported an instance of verbal or physical abuse to a staff member within the last month.
