Gordon Strachan admits he pleased he has been able to bury the hatchet with his mentor Sir Alex Ferguson. The pair enjoyed a close relationship during their Aberdeen days but things soured when his former Manchester United boss claimed Strachan 'couldn’t be trusted an inch’ in his autobiography.
The former Celtic and Scotland manager now regularly keeps in touch with the football icon after mending their relationship but admits he's on hand to deliver a razor-sharp one-liner, Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "He wanted to know if I was watching this thing on TV about Aberdeen in the early Eighties.
