Kate Garraway has said her husband Derek Draper's situation is "still pretty active" after his length Covid battle. Derek, 54, spent more than a year in hospital battling the coronavirus but he was released from hospital earlier this year and went home to Good Morning Britain star Kate and their two children.

Sharing an update with PA, the presenter said the family were now "learning the new way to live our lives and what he needs next to help him forward".
