Good Morning Britain guest claimed that Harry and William's rift "went way back" as they were a product of "marital turmoil".

Royal biographer Robert Lacey, 76, appeared on the ITV show to discuss Prince William and Prince Harry 's rift. He revealed details of the feud between the royal brothers and said it dates back to the 80s, saying that "it went way back".

Lacey told hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid : "It would be nice at this moment not to have brothers who were quarrelling, but coming back together..." He continued: "It goes right back to the beginning, it's chickens coming home to roost from all the trouble of the 80s and the 90s.
