Glasgow was forced to close after heaving rain flooded the kitchen during service. Staff at The Gannet, on Argyle Street in the city centre, had to down their tools and abandon work after torrential rail battered the city on Saturday.
The popular eatery was fully booked and gutted bosses took to social media to announce the news. They posted a video showing staff wading through ankle-level water, which was covering the whole kitchen at around 6.30pm.
