Glasgow MP who moved to a safe house after a death threat has called for women in the public eye to have more protection. Carol Monaghan feared for her and her family's lives when online abuse turned into detailed threats.

Earlier this month Jonathan Bell, 35, admitted his behaviour caused her "fear or alarm" and the SNP MP for Glasgow North West says social media companies must take action to end misogynistic abuse.
