An 11-year-old girl has died and three other people have been taken to hospital after “pest control” chemicals were found in a block of flats.
The child was found unresponsive at a flat in Sutton Street, in east London, on Saturday afternoon. She was taken to hospital where she died a short time later.
A number of other residents in the building reported feeling unwell and three people were taken to hospital, where they remain.
Following an evacuation the London Fire Brigade discovered a “quantity of chemicals” believed to be used for pest control in the building, My London reports.
