Gino D'Acampo restaurant chain has reportedly been bailed out by the boss of Iceland after facing millions in losses. The celebrity chef, 44, reported substantial losses even before lockdown struck for his My Restaurant group, reports The Sun.

The loan is believed to be worth several millions of pounds. Sir Malcolm is worth an estimated £265 million, meanwhile Gino himself is said to be worth around £8million.

According to the Italian chef's website, his Gino D'Acampo restaurant chain is now made up of eight eateries spread all across England.
