German's roast dinner attempt slammed by Brits - but roasties are praised
dailystar.co.ukbashing a Canadian's attempt at beans on toast.No one is safe when it comes to British foodies.Just like this one German who has taken to Reddit to ask Brits what they think of their attempt at a Sunday roast.Now, that is a brave question.Despite their courage, unfortunately for the German, their roast has been well and truly roasted by Brits.Some have claimed that it has appeared that they have “ripped” the dinner apart with their “bare hands.” Brutal!Alongside their roast for two, the German posed with the question: “I am German, what do you think about this Sunday roast?”Served upon a blue plate, the foodie has included three pieces of broccoli, two crispy looking parsnips, seven golden potatoes, two Yorkshire puddings and some very severely shredded chicken.And, they even included a boat full of gravy.Despite having no issues with the rest of the roast, many Brits were left appalled at the state of the shredded chicken.One person slammed: “Looks like they ripped it apart with their bare hands.”Another user added: “I thought he'd used a strimmer.”Whilst a third Brit mocked: “Solid effort but did you cook the chicken with a hand grenade?”Someone else voiced: “I'm a little scared by your chicken but otherwise that looks delicious.”However, not everyone was so harsh on the Germans version of the Sunday lunch.One user remarked: “Looks good, your roasties look banging and they’re the cornerstone of any good roast.
