Georgia Stanway has apologised after being sent off during the WSL Manchester derby on Saturday, but also revealed she’s been the victim of online abuse following her dismissal.
The Man City forward received her marching orders in the first half after a poor challenge on Leah Galton. Despite being a woman down, City took the lead through Khadija Shaw, however United seized control of the game; scoring twice after the break courtesy of goals from Lucy Staniforth and Alessia Russo.
