Gemma Bonner has opened up on the differences between Manchester City Women and Liverpool FC Women ahead of their Women's Super League clash on March 22.
The 28-year-old joined Liverpool in 2012 after beginning her career with home town club Leeds United and captained the Merseysiders to the FA WSL title in 2013 and 2014.
During her time in red, Bonner made her debut for the senior England women's national team in September 2013. She joined City in 2018 after six years at Liverpool and the fortunes of both sides have changed drastically since her departure.
City sit top of the table heading into the game against Liverpool on March 22 with their opponents languishing at the bottom of the standings with just six points from 14 games.
