GARDEN Rescue fans have slammed a £6,000 transformation as the "worst ever" after comparing the new look to a "building site".
Tuesday night's instalment of the BBC show saw Karen and her husband Colin, from Romsey, ask the Rich brothers and Charlie Dimmock for help.
Karen, who works as a reverend for hospital patients towards the end of their life, was looking for a relaxing Italian retreat outside her home.
She and her other half told the experts that they wanted a "garden that she can unwind in and relax" so she could empty her mind after work. "Maybe an Italian feel as we love Italy," Karen told the cameras. "Perhaps a pergola, some grape vines, something like that." The couple had a moderate budget of £6,000 - which was granted to gardener Charlie, who planned to bring Italian elements to Hampshire.
